Dollar higher vs pound in late trading

Dollar regains some ground against the British pound in trading late Wednesday

The dollar rose against the British pound in late New York trading Wednesday night. The pound fell to $1.4173 from $1.4246 in late afternoon trading on Wednesday.

On Tuesday afternoon, the pound was worth $1.4152.
