Dollar drops versus the yen in trading late Wednesday night


The dollar fell against the Japanese yen late Wednesday night in New York. The greenback dropped to 90.11 yen from the 90.57 yen it bought in late afternoon trading.

On Tuesday, the dollar was worth 88.90 yen.
